Science? Boring? Never!

I noticed some interesting tips to help organise Science based visits in an article from The Independent today. It states: -

Nearly half of young adults found school science boring, according to a poll by the charity Edge, and three-quarters said hands-on activities would have made the subject more interesting. Which makes you wonder if they ever went on any trips. For science, trips can be as simple as a walk along a local river, or as exciting as a day at the zoo.


The article also points you in the direction of Ecsite UK, the network of Science Centres and Museums. They represent over 80 science centres, museums and discovery centres in the UK. There are also several other suggestions, with contact numbers at the bottom of the page.
