Contextual Value-Added (CVA) Measure

He sent a link to Civitas's blog, who has written an interesting article on 'Contextual Value-Added (CVA) Measure', ofsted's new grading system whereby schools are to now be judged according to their different ethnic compositions. You can read the article here
Civitas's conclusion is that:-
The bottom line is that the government desperately needs to stop quantifying, contextualising, and justifying underachievement and return to that forgotten goal: learning
